Valerie Stevens Rhodes
Bio: Valerie Rhodes is certified as a Christian Counselor and a Grief and Loss Coach through the American Association of Christian Counselors. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from MidAmerica Nazarene University in Kansas. As a cancer survivor and then care-giver for a cancer survivor Valerie has continued to serve others facing cancer or any other chronic illness. As a Christian Counselor she specializes in helping others deal with grief and disaster. Following the close deaths of a dear lifelong friend and tragic sudden deaths of a cousin and then a great niece Valerie undertook training to become certified as a Grief and Loss Coach. All continuing education is in Death, Grief, Loss, and Disaster. She offers skills and tools to help others cope with their grief and losses.
